A lot going on

So I am in the middle of studying for the LSAT, because I plan on attending law school next year. Hence, the lack of posts. So, I am going to try to squeeze everything that is going on in to one post.
There is a lot going on.
Roy Halladay: As everyone in the baseball world knows, Blue Jays GM J.P. Riccardi said he has to take offers on his stud. If someone wows him, then he has to pull the trigger. The Dodgers would obviously love Halladay (who wouldn't) but they don't have the prospects to pull this deal off. It would take Billingsley or Kershaw and that's not going to happen. Guys like Chris Withrow, Ethan Martin, Andrew Lambo, James McDonald, Scott Elbert and Blake DeWitt are very good prospects, but they aren't elite prospects. I think to get Halladay you are going to have to trade a super-prospect like Clay Buchholz or someone along that line.
If Halladay gets traded to an NL contender, expect the Dodgers to make a move like picking up Erik Bedard, to counter.

Matt Kemp: You guys need to vote for Matt Kemp as many times as possible for the final All-Star spot. For one, he really, really deserves it and for two, Dodger fans can't sit back and watch Pablo Sandoval get voted in.

Clayton Kershaw: The kid has turned the corner. He is looking like a Major League pitcher now. He's starting to throw more strikes, he's finishing his pitches and he's keeping hitters off balance. We are talking about a future Cy Young candidate here. A guy who is 21 with a 3.27 ERA and an opponents batting average of .200. Unreal.

Manny's return: It's no coincidence that the Dodgers are 3-1 since Manny returned to the lineup. The offense is scary again.

Johnny Cakes: Watching him implode on Sunday in San Diego was alarming. I think the kid needs a break.

Chad Billingsley: 0-for-4 in attempts at getting win number 10. The first three times saw him blow two leads and this time the bullpen led a magnificent performance go to waste. However, Bills needs to keep the ball in the ballpark when facing a crappy lineup like the Padres.

Did I miss anything?

No F@#KING way we can let sandoval a giant get in over Matt Kemp...aka the Bison...been voting every night 20-30 times or more.

If it takes a Bills, Kershaw, Bison, Johhny Cakes or a Sir Andre for a Halladay or really anybody then piss off! R.Martin and Loney can still be had for Halladay IMO, but I hope Halladay doesnt get dealt this season to a NL team....WE STILL NEED ANOTHER STARTER THOUGH, and Bedard just got back I think. Just looked it up 8Ks in four innings in first start...wait one more start before making an offer of McD, Dewitt, and another low level prospect...Matt would Bedard be a type AorB free agent (would give us picks in return if he doesnt come back)?

KERSHAW=WOWWWWY!!! See kid what can happen if you throw strikes...and he is only 21!!!!!! Gives me a chubby thinking about it!

Manram is back and so is the Dodger O, Manny was right last night that ball was a foot off the plate! But he seems out of shape and hope he gets more ABs and play time before the allstar break.

Johhny Cakes is on the free pass list...enough said

Good luck on your LSATs Matt and with the pitching matchups that we have coming up we should be able to take 3of5 but want 4of5 just to make it perfectly clear to the team that needs a former Dodger managers to win, and a team that has an offensive lineup that a high school pitcher would look forward to, the DODGERS ARE FOR REAL...hope for the wild card.

just found this at MLBTR about Bedard and Type AB status
"Wondering about Erik Bedard? He has 69.259 of 100 points, while the lowest Type A American League starter has a 74.815 score. He's in the middle of the AL Type B starting pitchers at the moment. But if Bedard is traded to an NL club, he'll be ranked with that league's starters."

Sounds like if we traded for him and didnt sign him we would get compesation for him in the draft a type B or maybe higher
