Time to get rolling

After taking two out of three against the surging Colorado Rockies, the Dodgers wind down August with a Reds team they own.
After that, September sees them playing just one team with a record above .500. Basically, it's time to get rolling.
Sure, the Dodgers should have swept Colorado and pushed the lead to six games, but the bottom line is that they left Colorado with a bigger lead than they came in with and now the Rockies go to San Francisco to battle the Giants.
That series should be a good one, and perhaps the Giants can do a favor and win a game or two. My hatred still doesn't want to see the Giants sweep and move into a Wild Card tie.
The Dodgers are still sorting out what it is going to do with the rotation, but Vicente Padilla's start was promising, Hiroki Kuroda is progressing slowly but surely and Charlie Haeger has given a pair of quality starts.
All that stuff might work for now and as long as it gets them into October with Chad Billingsley, Clayton Kershaw and Randy Wolf leading the way, they should be fine.
Having a good September is crucial when it comes to locking up home field advantage in the playoffs.
The Dodgers are 1.5 up on Philly and 2.5 up on St. Louis for the National League's best record. Playing a series with most of the games at either of those two places would not be good.
It would be good for Bills to lead the way tonight with a great outing, maybe Great American Ballpark can help Manny out of his slump and the offense can start getting hits with runners on.
It's time to get things back into gear.

Anything but two out of three is a major failure against a lousy reds team with most of their players injured. The offense needs to get going and Furcal isnt providing any spark at the top of the order...even when he gets on he doesnt steal a base or get in the pitchers head like he used to....Not like my man Juan Pierre....all you Pierre haters cant deny the improvements in his avg and obp .317/.376 far superior to Furcals .257/.322. Since Manny/Blake/Loney arent capable of hitting the ball out of the park Consistently we need to RUN/HIT AND RUN/BUNT to make things happen...Kemp and Ethier stay in the lineup though. Matt mentioned Ethier playing 1B, I like the idea to get Juan in.

So everybody tell me again why Juan shouldnt be in the lineup? OR AT THE TOP OF THE LINEUP!!!
